I'm a retired small-business owner, and I've lived in Albuquerque since 1951. Although I'm not a native of the state, I've lived here longer than most who are.

My amazing husband, Don, and my beautiful daughter, Paula are my biggest cheerleaders. I'm blessed to still have my wonderful mother, Ruby, who also lives in Albuquerque. My bratty baby brother David (who is a long way from being a baby now) lives in Maryland with his lovely wife, Fran
... my work
I'm a writer currently working on my first mystery novel. With the help of my family and my talented writers critique group, I hope to have it published before I'm another year older.
... my interests
Writing, digital photography, and amateur radio take up most of my time. I'm also a music lover (the good stuff, not the noise emanating from the automobiles of youthful drivers), an avid movie fan, and a connoisseur of select television programs.
... my likes
I'm a collector of many things: books (the most addictive collection), CDs and DVDs (a close second), cookbooks (I know, I know, that's classified as a book, but it's really a whole 'nuther addiction!), and a soon-to-be-disposed-of Star Trek memorabilia collection.
... my dislikes
Rude people and people who walk in front of your car in parking lots (wait---those ARE rude people), liver & onions, being forgetful, and.... I don't remember what else I was going to say.
